Private Pumping StationsList Item 1
Wessex Water were required to adopt all private pumping stations under Section 105a of the private sewer of the Private Sewer Transfer Regulations, across their operating region, which required survey and then upgrades to an adoptable standard.

Chertsey STW Operational ResilienceList Item 2
Following a process risk review carried out by Thames Water, it was highlighted that there was insufficient process resilience on site in the event of any type of failure of to one of the existing belt presses.

Event Duration Monitoring
Wessex Water identified 214 assets across their operating region, which required upgrades to their spill monitoring equipment to measure performance enabling them to maintain compliance with environmental consents across a variety of assets included Combined Sewer Overflows, Sewerage Pumping Stations & Sewage Treatment Works.

Tidworth WwTW
In December 2017 the Environment Agency made two significant changes to the discharge licence at Tidworth WWTW, which was originally constructed in the 1940’s.

Heathrow Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor
Veolia were required to construct an MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) plant located on the periphery of Heathrow Airport, as part of a scheme to upgrade the pollution control system on the eastern balancing reservoir.
