Wessex Water identified 214 assets across their operating region, which required upgrades to their spill monitoring equipment to measure performance enabling them to maintain compliance with environmental consents across a variety of assets included Combined Sewer Overflows, Sewerage Pumping Stations & Sewage Treatment Works.  

Hanevo provided Wessex Water a full turnkey solution which involed stakeholder consultation with the various Wessex Water internal departments to support the Wessex Water Framework Management team, enabling Hanevo to deliver the necessary efficiency with the highest level of service.

Our works were delivered in two phases utilising predominantly our internal resources supported by specialist supply chain. to assess monitoring compliance & identify solutions to improve performance. 

Phase 1
  • Survey key spill points against Wessex Water Data base and update Wessex Water Data base as required.
  • Assess presence of Pre Spill, Spill & LEO signals and run simulations on sites where signals were present.
  • Survey telemetry equipment to ascertain space for new alarms if required
  • Check specification, condition & location of Ultrasonic heads
  • Assess if Pulsar Units could support any additional alarms

Phase 2 
  • Install and commission new telemetry outstations
  • Install and commission new PLC’s
  • Install and commission new ultrasonic heads
  • Reposition existing ultra sonic heads to optimise performance and maintenance Install EDM Level Plates and Dynamos
  • Liason with Wessex Water Term Contractor to allow replacement of Gatic Covers during the concurrency of our works.
