Wessex Water have confirmed the award to Hanevo, of a new project to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the aeration system at Bridport WWTW with the replacement of the existing air blowers. The project includes Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning works associated with the new blowers and stainless-steel pipework distribution headers and delivery pipework. The blowers will be installed in a duty/standby configuration. Additionally, Hanevo will act as Principal Contractor to manage the civil works being provided by others. 

Key drivers for this project are asset age and process performance. Works will commence on site in March 2024. HANEVO has gained an enviable reputation, with proven delivery on previous and current live projects of this nature. These include notable projects such as Swanage UV, Chilton Saltlands Penstocks, Chemical Dosing tank replacements, Frome STW Recirc PS Upgrade, Private Pumping Station Upgrades (90 sites) and EDM (400 + sites). This work has all been undertaken in recent years under the ongoing EM&I framework.
