Shepton STW Chemical Storage Tank Wessex Win for Hanevo

Wessex Water have confirmed the award of the “Shepton Mallet Purisol Tank” Contract to Hanevo.

This Contract is awarded under the new “AMP8 M&E Contractors Minor Works Framework - Lot 1”.

This project requires Hanevo to act as Principal Contractor to complete Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning works, to install a new Purisol Tank and associated M&E Installation onto a designated existing / unused sludge drying bed area, which will replace the existing aging Tank setup currently located elsewhere on site, with full removal and disposal of existing upon completion and commissioning.

HANEVO have also recently been awarded the Saltford Tanks x 4 replacement project, which we will be considered when programming the works to gain efficiencies between both projects.

Simon Longley, Contracts and Technical Manager at Hanevo noted “This award is greatly received from Wessex Water, especially following the recent Saltford Tanks award. We look forward to successful delivery of both these projects, working closely with Wessex Water and our 3rd party suppliers.”

This project commences March 2026.
