Works are underway on Phase 2 of the ‘Swanage UV Installation’ project. The project involves the installation a duty/standby UV System, Pumps, Mixers and Copa-sacs with accompanying instrumentation and control systems along with a new flooring system over the UV Sump.

Phase 1 involved the installation of 100 Metres of 200mm diameter Stainless Steel pipework in the long void area behind the cliff face.

Phase 2 involves the remaining pipework installation, along with further mechanical and electrical works, which will be completed and commissioned in February 2024. 

Prior to contract commencement, the client had envisaged that part of the site would be shut down to facilitate the works. However, this could not be facilitated, and the Hanevo team, working with the client, re-evaluated and amended the methodology in devising a temporary works solution that maintained site operations.
