The works include M&E services, backlog maintenance, fire compartmentation works and alteration of existing rooms, including the removal of fixtures and fittings. Wall decoration, floor coverings and ceilings, installation of IPS units and the remodelling of the reception areas at ground and 1st floor levels are also included.

 

The project will complete with the installation of an external platform lift and associated external works including alterations to the existing pedestrian entrance. This project, which starts immediately, is an essential addition to children’s services provision, and will take 6 months to complete. The works programme will be phased as the centre will be in use throughout the project.
