HANEVO are well advanced on works to refurbish a 40m high chimney at the heart of St Helier Hospital.  The project required the installation of scaffolding around the top of the chimney while utilising rope access techniques to undertake the works.  Brickwork repairs are almost complete and will continue with weatherproof sealing and full replacement of the lighting protection system to ensure the Chimney remains safe long into the future. Enhanced security and protection measures are in place for the duration of the works to ensure public safety at all times. 

Commenting on the project, Contract Director Jozef Mountain stated "HANEVO are excited to be able to showcase our construction and project management skills on a structure with such challenging access and safety requirements. Work with the Trust Personnel during the pre-planning on this project was meticulous with safety metrics being a key KPI .
