Hanevo has completed all civils and mechanical works at North Nibley – which is the first of two awarded EDM Advanced Contracts – the other being Wootton Bassett STW which commences Monday 12^th August.

Hanevo are acting as Principal Contractor to manage the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning works on both sites. Each site comprises the installation of Pumping Stations to divert the incoming flows, to avoid double counting flows at the inlet prior to MCerts flow meter. For these projects, Hanevo engaged in up-front design works, including attendance at Hazop and Design Review meetings, to assess buildability.

The driver for this project is significant pressure from Ofwat and the Environment Agency to demonstrate continuing compliances. Combining the EDMs on Spill to Storm being installed in AMP7, will enable Wessex Water to confirm that the permitted FFT for each WRC is being complied with. 

Both sites are programmed and resourced, to completed at the end October 2024.
