Completed in Summer 2020, we undertook a variety of works to the accommodation block, whichprovides living space for over 100 nurses and on- call staff and 2 floors of offices. Works were planned around the daily lives of residents and users, with activities timed to accord to varied shift patterns. Works included: 

• Sash Window Refurbishment: specialist carpentry to repair over 100 timber sash windows overlooking a listed building, requiring sympathetic finishes to satisfy heritage approvals. Working from MEWPs in a scaffold free solution and encompassing lead-paint removals. 
• Bathroom and corridor Refits: Full remodel of 6 bathrooms and corridors across 4 floors, phased to maintain capacity for users. 
• Refurbishment of 15 nurses accommodation units to enhance living conditions.
  

Hanevo recently completed part refurbishment of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In a strict 10 day window to whilst the ward was decanted, it was essential that we completed on time and to exacting quality required to enable the critical care to recommence in the ward as planned. Access was maintained throughout for staff needs.

Works were undertaken 24/7 and included: 

• Building Fabric works: Floors to clinical spaces replaced with new hygienic vinyl; walls and ceiling refurbishment; minor works to improve staff privacy and working spaces. 
  
• M&E works: replacement of clinical wash hand basins were replaced with HTM compliant IPS units; Full new hot water services to the entire department. 

We also co-ordinated works from our Fire Remediation contract to avoid any future disruption to service provision. This included replacement of fire doors; fire stopping and emergency light upgrades.
