Currently on site as of April 2026, Hanevo is delivering the replacement of critical cooling plant across both the Epsom and St Helier Hospital estates.

The project involves the detailed design, replacement and commissioning of chiller systems serving theatres, maternity facilities, endoscopy departments and communications infrastructure.



Works are being undertaken within live healthcare environments, with extensive stakeholder coordination and phased installation planning implemented to maintain operational continuity throughout the programme.

Works included:

• Extensive surveys and measurement of existing infrastructure
• Structural assessments and alterations including steel supports and concrete plinths
• Crane lifting operations to install chillers and condenser units within live healthcare environments
• Mechanical pipework installations and connections into retained infrastructure
• Electrical infrastructure upgrades including switchgear modifications and DB replacements
• Controls cabling and integration into retained BMS systems
