Completed in April 2026, Hanevo delivered emergency lighting upgrades across multiple live healthcare environments within the Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust estate.



The works were undertaken to improve compliance with current fire regulations, replace end-of-life fittings and expand integration into the Trust’s Smartscan monitoring system.

Works were undertaken across clinical departments, hospital service areas and ambulance workshop facilities, with programmes coordinated around ongoing operational requirements.

Works included:

• Bulk battery replacement to over 600 light fittings
• Replacement of emergency approximately 150 light fittings including ceiling and wall mounted units and illuminated signage
• Installation of new containment, cabling and additional emergency lighting
• High-level lighting replacement works within the Lombard Road ambulance workshop
• Testing and commissioning into the integrated Smartscan monitoring system
• Fault finding and electrical rectification works undertaken under minor works certification
