Hanevo completed the ‘Swanage UV Installation’ project throughout late 2023 & early 2024, totalling £380k.

The project involved Hanevo acting as Principle Contractor to install a duty/standby UV System, Pumps, Mixers and Copa-sacs with accompanying instrumentation and control systems along with a new flooring system over the UV Sump.

Phase 1 involved the installation of 100 Metres of 200mm diameter Stainless Steel pipework in the long void area behind the cliff face.

Phase 2 involved the remaining pipework installation, along with further mechanical and electrical works – namely New mixer / New Copa Sac System / New UPS / New Supervisory Panel / New UV Reactor / New Instrumentation.

Prior to contract start, the client had intended that part of the site be completely shut down to facilitate our works. However this could not be facilitated, and as such Hanevo team re-evaluated and amended their methodology to incorporate a temporary works solution to maintain process.
