Completed in January 2026, Hanevo delivered fire and smoke damper upgrades across five floors of the Denbies Wing at Epsom Hospital.

The works formed part of a wider estate-wide compliance programme to integrate retained ductwork infrastructure into the Trust’s upgraded damper control systems and fire strategy.



Works were coordinated around live clinical and operational spaces, with flexible working undertaken around user requirements.

Works included:

• Detailed surveys and cause & effect planning to develop compliant solutions
• Installation of new electrical supplies for damper controls
• Installation of damper control cabling ring mains across five floors
• Installation of new damper control systems onto retained dampers
• Mechanical replacement of defective damper actuators
• Installation of access hatches and fire stopping improvements
