Nearing completion in May 2026, Hanevo delivered phased ventilation and comfort cooling upgrades to the public restaurant, kitchen and Costa Coffee facilities at Epsom Hospital.

The project was undertaken within a live public environment and required careful planning to maintain operational use of the facilities throughout construction.



Extensive planning was undertaken with the catering team and Costa Coffee to optimise phased work zones and work timings.

Works included:

• Establishment of solid hoardings to provide dust control and security
• Strip-out of fragile ceiling tiles, grids and redundant heating pipework
• Installation of new MVHR plant, associated pipework, ductwork and cooling coils
• Installation of air-conditioning systems including ceiling cassettes, wall units and external chiller plant
• Electrical upgrades including new DB installations and lighting reinstatement
• Local BMS integration, new dampers and out-of-hours commissioning and balancing
