Completed in November 2024, Hanevo delivered the £1.3m full design and build fit-out, from shell and core, of a new privately run Eye Clinic in Kingston upon Thames. 

The completed facility included an ophthalmic theatre, diagnostics room, minor operations room, laser treatment room, reception and waiting areas, alongside ancillary staff and public spaces. The project was delivered to a tight five-month programme with high-quality finishes throughout to meet healthcare standards and CQC requirements. 



Works were undertaken within a busy public-facing urban environment, with surrounding commercial users and occupants directly above and beside the property remaining operational throughout the programme. 

Works included:

• Façade adaptations to integrate louvres and reduce solar gain to internal spaces 
• MVHR systems to surgeries and circulation spaces, with VRF units to office areas 
• Full electrical works including feature architectural lighting and electrical outlets 
• Partition walls with solid MF ceilings, suspended ceilings and hygienic wall coverings 
• Bespoke joinery to reception areas and surgeries to meet CQC compliance requirements 
• High-quality tiling, specialist vinyl flooring and hygienic finishes to clinical spaces 
• Installation of specialist medical equipment infrastructure including medical gas systems and associated plant 
• Theatre fit-out including operating lights, surgeons panels, UPS and IPS pendants 
• Installation of bespoke IPS units and specialist GRP door sets
