Hanevo completed works for two separate ‘Blowers’ projects in Summer 2024, totalling circa £230k.

At Bridport STW - 3 new Blowers were installed, and at Shepton Mallett STW – 5 new Blowers were installed.
These projects consisted of Hanevo acting as Principle Contractor to manage Civil works by others along with Mechanical, Electrical works being undertaken by Hanevo directly. Works were phased to ensure process continuity - with each blower being removed / replaced in turn, with commissioning in between each phase alongside Atlas Copco and Wessex Water.

Each new blower was installed along with associated stainlesss steel pipework in a duty standby configuration.
The driver for the project was due to age related performance issues.

Richard Gray, Project Engineer for Hanevo noted:
“The delivery phase of this project was challenging due to hardware and software compatibility issues between existing and new systems, however through collaboration with the Wessex Water project team and their supply chain, we have successfully delivered this project to programme”.
