Completed in late 2023 for full occupancy, Hanevo undertook the full refurbishment and extension of the West Lodge building at ACS International Schools, Cobham.

The £1.3m (inc. VAT) scheme expanded and repurposed the building to provide office and administrative space for key school functions, supporting the wider estate masterplan and decant strategy across the campus.



All works were undertaken on a live education estate, with careful co-ordination around traffic movements, estate security requirements and safeguarding procedures throughout the programme.

Works included:

• Full strip-out, demolition, blockwork removal and structural alterations for steel beams supporting roof plant
• Extension works including strip foundations, block and beam flooring and steel and timber flat roof construction
• Full new mechanical systems for heating, cooling and ventilation
• Electrical upgrades including new power, data, general and emergency lighting and a new incoming UKPN supply
• Partition walls, ceilings and glazed booths with acoustic improvements
• Flooring replacements and full redecoration works with acoustic baffles to ceilings and walls
• New fire alarm, access control and CCTV systems linked to the wider estate
• Extensive external works including a 700m fibre link upgrade and drainage improvements for foul and surface water
• Bespoke FF&E installations and toilet and kitchen fit-outs throughout the building
