Completed in April 2025, Hanevo delivered the refurbishment of the passenger lift serving the G Block at St Helier Hospital.

The project was undertaken to improve reliability, accessibility and resilience for staff, visitors and hospital bed movements within the live healthcare environment.



Works were coordinated around ongoing hospital operations within the occupied building served by the lift.

Works included:

• Establishment of protective sheeted hoardings at all floor levels
• Strip-out of old lift equipment
• Replacement of lift car base, supporting lift ropes and associated equipment
• Installation of new lift car, doors, control equipment and communication systems
• Full lift testing, commissioning and LOLER certification
• Improvements to motor room lighting, ventilation, roof repairs and access arrangements
