Chelsea & Westminster
Hospital

Following the successful delivery of upgrade works at Harlow Hospital, Cantel have awarded Hanevo a further project to provide the electrical installation and containment works to 6 new Endoscopy units.

The works consisted of liaising closely with the hospital to isolate the existing units one at a time to ensure the hospital remain fully operational at all times. On completion of the new electrical installation the works were fully commissioned, and a new bulkhead formed with service access hatches to allow for ongoing maintenance.

This was covered with Whiterock to ensure the environment was easy to clean and contamination kept to a minimum. The project was successfully delivered on time, within budget and to the client's requirements.

The scope was to bring these newly adopted stations up to a standard, with the appreciation that they couldn't be brought fully up to spec due to certain constraints on site.

This consisted mainly of changing pumps / panels / guide rails / pump chains / manhole covers / kiosks - and installing telemetry on each site.

We were given the task of scoping each of the sites - this took 6 weeks and required individual Customer Contact up front to book appointments. Once scoping was complete, we priced these South sites and were eventually asked to deliver some North sites also. In total we delivered 89 sites which consisted of 77 sites in the South Wessex and 12 in the North Wessex
