Hanevo completed two projects at Westwood STW between January and March 2025 totalling £80K.



The First Project involved the installation and commissioning of Free Issue equipment:- MCerts Flow Meter; Level Monitors; FPF Control Penstock; Huber Screen; Lighting Columns, LCP and Float.

This installation enabled Wessex Water to monitor incoming flows more accurately and a more effective screening process to site.

The Second project involved the replacement of the Storm Return Kiosk, due to the existing being past its serviceable age.

Works on these sites included;

• Initial surveying – taking measurements and photos along with pricing 
• Installation – Mechanical / Electrical / Civil works to install Pumps / Pipework / Guide Rails / Chains / Floats / Technocovers / Kiosks and Control Panels – often with a temporary arrangement in place to divert flows or power.
• Commissioning – of entire installation with Wessex Water OT department and E2E testing with Wessex Water IS Department
• Signage and Documentation – Production of an O&M manual with drawings and NICEIC certificates.

Elizabeth Yates, Project Manager at Hanevo noted “The Private Pumping Station Upgrades project was the first scheme we delivered for Wessex Water, commencing in 2018, and it paved the way for our appointment to the AMP7 EM&I framework and subsequent frameworks and projects. Each site was unique and presented its own challenges, having often been privately developed and therefore rarely meeting Wessex Water’s standards at the time of adoption in 2016.”
