Westwood Sewage Treatment Works
Hanevo completed two projects at Westwood STW between January and March 2025 totalling £80K.
The First Project involved the installation and commissioning of Free Issue equipment:- MCerts Flow Meter; Level Monitors; FPF Control Penstock; Huber Screen; Lighting Columns, LCP and Float.
This installation enabled Wessex Water to monitor incoming flows more accurately and a more effective screening process to site.
The Second project involved the replacement of the Storm Return Kiosk, due to the existing being past its serviceable age.
Works included:-
- GRP survey of the area
- Civils - laying ducting for new panel, casting a new concrete kiosk plinth, Breakout existing subsiding concrete plinth and place a type 1 foot path in its place
- Install new Free Issue kiosk onto the plinth with Hi-Ab
- Connection of pumps and associated controllers to the new panel
- Installation of new Distribution Board in new Kiosk
- Relocation of level controllers from current location in the inlet works MCC kiosk to new kiosk,
- Extend existing storm pump control panel power and telemetry cabling to new kiosk
- Test and commission new panel and relocated level controllers
